These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GeneLink demonstration website (the “Demo”), operated by CodeByGreen, the software studio of Joseph Green (“we”, “us”). By accessing the Demo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Demo.
1. The Demo is for evaluation only
The Demo exists so you can evaluate the GeneLink WordPress plugin. It is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Accounts and content on the Demo are shared, public, and temporary.
2. Nightly reset — do not store anything here
All content, accounts, and changes on the Demo are deleted and restored to a clean baseline automatically every night. Nothing you create here is private, backed up, or retained. Do not upload real photographs, real names, or any information you are not comfortable making public and disposable.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Demo, you agree not to:
- enter real personal data about yourself or any other living person;
- upload unlawful, infringing, offensive, or malicious content;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
- use the Demo to send spam or for any unlawful purpose.
We may remove content or restrict access at any time, for any reason, without notice.
4. The GeneLink software
GeneLink is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). A paid GeneLink license buys ongoing updates, support, and access to premium features — it does not restrict your rights under the GPL to the code itself. The Demo software, brand, and the “Calloway” sample dataset remain the property of CodeByGreen.
5. No warranty & limitation of liability
The Demo is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeByGreen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Demo.
6. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Demo after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
